VIRTUAL
VIOLENCE
Client: Qiio Magazin
Year: 2018
Role: concept, photography,
art direction and motion design
Qiio Magazin is a german digital magazine. They conceive their compendiums as timelines to analyze a topic through time (past, present, future). Their headers work as a virtual fresco made of 6 visuals.
For the "Virtual Violence" compendium, I created a series of portraits playing with digital aesthetics and suggesting destroyed identities (victims but also stalkers/harassers/hackers).
The models (Julia and Shaun) were photographed and then digitally destroyed by a glitch generator.
The results were recomposed into
the final compositions. A video animation was also created.
