Qiio Magazin is a german digital magazine. They conceive their compendiums as timelines to analyze a topic through time (past, present, future). Their headers work as a virtual fresco made of 6 visuals.

For the "Hybrid Life" compendium, I photographed a series of engines and distorted them in post-production to create hybrid compositions. The result is showing real materials - steel, plastic or aluminium - melting into the digital world. With the use of organic sounds, the animations bring the concept even further.
